VERMOUTH AND VERMOUTH COCKTAILS
This intermediate class is for home bartenders, party hosts and cocktail enthusiasts who want to learn more about vermouth and vermouth-modified cocktails while increasing the romantic appeal of their drink-mixing game.
Countless mixed drinks employ vermouth, including the ever-so-iconic Manhattan and Martini. But what exactly is vermouth? How do you use it? How do you store the stuff? Which brands should you stock? And what goes into making one of those iconic vermouth cocktails anyway?
Participants will be served a lovely vermouth-based aperitif (from the Latin verb aperire, which means "to open") and light snacks while learning about vermouth styles and history, current trends, and how to mix two popular vermouth cocktails.
85.00 + HST for new students
75.00 + HST for participants of our Intro to Cocktail Basics class
